Sandy Creek Trees were pioneers
with re-vegetation in the North East of Victoria with difficult
to germinate and hard to grow species a specialty. We have now grown
to be the region’s largest plant growers and planting contractors.
Sandy Creek Trees is operated
by two permanent staff and up to 15 employees through the busy periods.
We currently produce in excess of 1.2 million indigenous and native
plants each year – trees, shrubs grasses and wetland plants.
Advanced native trees, both indigenous and non-indigenous are grown
to order.
We are specialists in the local provenances from the Riverina,
South West Slopes of New South Wales, Northern and North East
Victoria. We grow over 200 varieties from local seed collected
from these areas. We source seed extensively through private collectors
and all Greening Australia seed banks in these regions. Rigid
quality control ensures premium seedlings which are grown in economical
Hiko cells or to individual clients requirements.
